Porridge SPICY NUT BUTTER

  1. Stir Quaker oats with water and milk in a pot and let it boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from the heat and serve
  3. Stir almond butter, honey, cinnamon and ginger in a bowl (add some water if the mix is too thick)
  4. Pour the mix on top of Quaker oats and garnish with apple and almonds
Ingredients

    ½ cup Quaker oats
    ½ cup water
    ½ low fat milk
    1 ½ tsp almond butter (or peanut butter)
    ½ tsp honey
    ¼ tsp cinnamon
    ¼ tsp ginger, grated
    1 tbsp apple, chopped (unpeeled)
    1 tsp almonds, chopped (or peanuts)
