1. Put the Quaker oats, eggs and sugar in a large bowl and stir with a mixer or beat with a whisk, gradually adding the milk and baking powder until the texture thickens.
2. Heat a medium sized non-stick frying pan and add some margarine or sunflower oil.
3. Pour some of the mixture into the centre of the frying pan with a deep ladle and gently roll the pan around to make a small disc. Fry until the bottom side browns and then turn over with tongs or a spatula and fry the other side.
4. Place on kitchen paper.
5. Repeat the procedure until the mixture is finished.
6. Put a dollop of vanilla ice cream in the centre of each pancake, pour chocolate syrup over them and serve.
