Sweet recipes QUAKER, TAXINI AND COCOA TRUFFLES

1. Put the figs in a bowl and cover them with water for 30 minutes until soft.

2. Drain, cut into small pieces and put them in a blender.

3. Blend for a little while, but do not liquefy completely. Add the Quaker oats, tahini, cocoa powder, caster sugar and a little juice. Blend, then stop and check the mixture.

4. If some of the mixture is stuck to the sides, remove with the spoon and put it back with the rest, add a little more juice and blend again.

5. Put the coconut in a bowl.

6. Take a small quantity of the mixture with a little spoon, shape into a ball and roll through the coconut.

7. Because the mixture is soft and slightly moist, the coconut should stick to it.

8. Store in the fridge.

Ingredients

    (15-17 truffles)
    50g Quaker oats
    6 dried figs
    3 tsp tahini
    2 tsp cocoa powder
    2 tsp caster sugar
    Juice of 1 small orange
    2 tsp desiccated coconut
